Anscombe Bioethics
Vatican Double Helix Staircase
Bioethics Centre
In these pages, we offer a variety of resources produced by past and present staff members of the Anscombe Bioethics Centre, as well as those associated with us such as Visiting Research Fellows or speakers at our conferences and other events. These resources are all publicly available for free, either on the Centre's website or through another online publication. We hope this virtual library will be of use to students, healthcare professionals and anyone else interested in Catholic bio- and medical ethics.

We also offer a selection of books and booklets written or edited by Centre staff which can be purchased via our online bookshop.

In addition to these resources and publications, staff members have also published articles in peer-reviewed journals, newspapers and book collections which are not available for free on the Internet, but which you may be able to access through a personal or institutional subscription. You can view the publications lists of individual staff members on their staff profiles.

Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia: A Guide to the Evidence

In addition to the resources which you can find by clicking on the appropriate category listed on the left, the Centre has also produced a 'Guide to the Evidence' on assisted suicide and euthanasia, which is available here. It is an annotated bibliography of resources compiled by our director, Prof. David Albert Jones, and is produced in order to inform debate about whether to legalise euthanasia and assisted suicide in the United Kingdom.
