Bioethics Centre

The Anscombe Bioethics Centre is supported by the Catholic Churches in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland and has always relied on donations from generous individual friends and benefactors. To support our ambitious move to Oxford we are encouraging as many people as possible to become a Member of the Centre. Please click the heading on the left for more information.

Some people may not wish to become Members of the Centre but will want to support the Centre by a one off donation or by volunteering to help with the work of the Centre, becoming a Friend of the Centre. Gifts of any size, small or large, are always appreciated. You may also consider including the Anscombe Bioethics Centre in your will. Sustaining the witness of the Church to ethical truths is a worthwhile legacy.

The vision of the Centre is the establishment of a permanent and properly equipped office in Oxford with a national library for Catholic bioethics accessible to the public and also securing the future of the Centre financially. This great project needs upwards of £4 million. It can only succeed with the help of Benefactors, whether trusts or individuals. Please see the link on the left for more information about becoming a benefactor, or contact the Director, Dr David Albert Jones on director@bioethics.org.uk
